Life Path
A life path is a kind of quest that represents your characters main goal in life. Where a Plot Quest signifies a plot worthy goal, a life path represents an achievement which might effect plot. Like a plot quest a life path is long and difficult to complete, however assuming all your characters goals are aiming towards completing this then nearly all of your posts count towards it. There are various types of life path which are listed below, it should be noted that a person can undergo multiple life paths, however may only complete one at a time.

Life paths are progressed VIA LPWC( Life Path Word Count), for each word in your post this will go towards the LPWC count so long as the RP progresses your life path.

Organization
This life path represents a life dedicated to serving a particular organization that exists within the world. Whilst joining an Organization does not require you to take this lifepath, it's progression means that you will stand out more within that group and progress through its ranks far more quickly.

Stage I Joining and initial progression from beginner to middle class rank within the group. At this point your influence is limited, but the perks of joining are improved over someone without this path. Reward: Organization specific Ability + Items. Requirements: Announce Path Chosen.
Stage II Promotion to mid class ranking, those within the same Organisation at Stage I, or not on this life path must now obey your orders (unless they are canon characters with automatic higher ranks). You now have somewhat of a name within the organization, but outside it you are still relatively unknown. Reward:Organization specific ability upgraded, additional items, Small group of NPC's now under your control (5).Requirements: 25,000 PWC.
Stage III Promotion to high class ranking within group, you now have significant influence and you are known regionally as a person of power. Ability to command those at lower ranks moves up with same limitations. Rewards: Organization specific ability upgraded, Regional Fame, Group of NPC's under your command increases to 15, two of these may be body guards which you can create bios for. These bodyguards will have a level equal to half of yours when you claim this reward. Requirements: 50,000 pwc

Path of the Leader
Rather than work for a pre-existing group, you strive to create your own group/organization.

Stage I Unlike other paths this one isn't as simple as just announcing your intentions, this part of that path represent the quest to obtain followers and set up the beginnings of your group. Reward:Organization specific ability (Created by you), Group of 5 NPC followers/employees.Requirements: 5000 PWC, Convince 3 people to join you( Done via story), Invest 10,000 gil.
Stage II The growth of your organization is beginning and you are starting to have more of an impact on the area around you. At this point you would now be considered a small to mid sized group and are starting to attract the attention of other organizations within the area.  Reward:Organization specific ability upgraded, additional items, Followers/employees increase to 20.Requirements: 25,000 PWC.
Stage III Your organization is now releatively successful, people in the region know the brand that you promote. You weild significant economic or military influence within the area. Other organizations may see you as a rival.  Rewards: Organization specific ability upgraded, Regional Fame, Group of NPC's under your command increases to 40 Requirements: 60,000 pwc
Stage IV Your organization has turned global, you have multiple outposts in various regions of the world. Financially your control allows you access to private boats/airships for travel, you are globally famous. Rewards: Global Fame, Control of 200 NPC's/Employees ( this represents your main home branch, however the reach of your organization is considered to be beyond this), as the leader of such a successful group, your weekly dividend of the companies earnings nets you 15,000 gil per week.
Requirements:100,000 PWC.


Path of Adventure
The ways and rules of the world hold little to no interest to you. You are an adventurer pure and simple, this can vary from the mercenary who takes jobs for anyone. Or a hero/villain taking work to help/hinder those in need.

Stage I Basic quest taking, the local inn will provide you with quests and bounties. Alternatively you can also seek out adventure independently in the world, travelling to lost and forgotten places to make your fortune. Reward:Heroic/Villainous ability, Quest Board Gil Rewards are improved by 20%Requirements: 7000PWC, 5 individual quests completed, or 1 DM provided adventure.
Stage II Your renown has increased, people in the region either fear or respect you.This fame has resulted in improved quests.Rewards: Quest Gil Rewards Improved by 40% (non commulative), Regional Fame. Requirements: 25,000 PWC. 5 Intermediate individual quests completed, or 1 DM provided adventure.
Stage III You are now somewhat of an urban legend in the world, those in power will likely turn to you for good or ill.  Rewards: Heroic/Villian  ability upgraded, Global Fame, Quest Gil Rewards Improved by 60% Requirements: 50,000 PWC

Life Of Crime
The path this represents is one in the shadows, similar to the organisation life path this one represents the rise of a character through criminal means. A character on the life of crime is not necessarily evil, they may simply be a thief, though normally an acceptance of the morally questionable comes in handy.

Stage I Your character is a low level street thug, you have no influence and are just starting out your life in the criminal enterprise.Despite this you have learned a few street tricks to help you evolve as a criminal. Requirement: Announcement of path. Reward: Brith Authority combat ability. The effect of this CA is that your character can bribe the local guards/police/soldiers to look the other way in a thread thereby lessening the threat level of a random encounter.

Stage II You have now been recognised within the criminal underworld, you are what is known as a shock collar. A man with influence over a small group of criminals either within an organisation or outside. Despite having some authority your name is still mostly unknown, however those within the right circles know of you. Reward: Small group of NPC's now under your control (5).Requirements: 25,000 PWC.

Stage III Promotion to high class ranking within gthe criminal underworld, you are now the equivalent of a "made man" most criminals won't even cross your path without breaking a cold sweat. Rewards:Organization specific ability upgraded ( Can now bribe city officals), Regional Fame, Group of NPC's under your command increases to 15, two of these may be body guards which you can create bios for. These bodyguards will have a level equal to half of yours when you claim this reward. Requirements: 50,000 pwc
