Zolanius took off back into the temple, as if he had somewhere to be. K138Y considered following him, he was part of the group now after all. But things finally started going normal in this new world, which wasn't necessarily a good thing. Priests were flying off the handle, citizens were fleeing or rallying for a fight, demands for her death were everywhere. All of the normal things from the previous Gaia, maybe this world wouldn't be so hard to get used to. In her usual manner K138Y tried to be reasonable.

"Aw come on! Lets be reasonable about this, do you really think--"

She was cut off as someone from the crowd threw a small fireball at her. It was small enough that the hit of it was hardly felt. But it acted more like a symbol for the crowd to charge, which is exactly what they did. K138Y looked over to Rena with a smile, they could both handle themselves.

"Guess we can catch up later! Try not to hurt anyone, they are just a little close minded you know."

With that she held a hand to her chest then threw it into the air. Her latest addition to the collection, Ifrit, was summoned. He dropped to the ground and crouched down so that his head was at her side. The crowd backed off a bit, seeing that not only had Ifrit not killed her but gone so far as to join her. Plus the fiery daemon was quite intimidating. K138Y stroked the snout of her new summon and whispered into the depth of his ear.

"Do not worry my new friend. We will not be hurting these people, just get me out of here."

Ifirit stuck out his hand and K138Y got on it. She moved from there up to his shoulder then the summon stood up and roared at the crowd. Someone braved to shoot a blizzard spell at the summon which rallied the crowd again. Ifrit jumped into the air and leaped over the crowd. At K138Y's instruction he dropped a meteor of fire that blocked the path from standard means. From there he charged for the forest.

"Son of a-"

Zolanius jerked his hand back, uttering colorful language as he steps away from the crystal door that he had been examining probably a little too closely. He holds up his hand with pained curiosity, seeing the sliver of crystal probably embedded in his bone. That's what it felt like, anyways, seeing how it just hung there, not even wiggling or slipping. There was barely any blood either, save for just a ring around the fragment that clotted. He did attempt to remove it rather carefully, pulling on it slowly with his other hand. But the way it was stuck, he might as well had been pulling the finger it was attached to. If it could feel emotion, the Raven Shade would be laughing at him, and at how he kind of deserved that. Instead it only reminded him of how careful he needed to be when it came to provoking religious architecture. Zolanius scoffed and reached into his pocket for his book, and then realized... He can't write with the crystal stuck in his finger. "Great." He did, however, sense the orb he snatched burn up in his pocket, and removing it, he smiled crookedly at how brilliantly the flames flickered within the glass. "Hehe... Great.~"

He began walking back through the temple, hoping to still cash in on the lunch that was promised to him, and learn more about the origins of K138Y and Rena, and more about this other world they hail from. But once he reached the entrance, he was immediately met with hostility, fireballs being tossed his way. He drew his sword with a pained expression and made attempts to block the assault. "Rena! What in blazes is going on!?" With K138Y already well on her way out of town, the assailants had their attention focuseds on Zolanius and Rena. Zolanius DID admit to being K138Y's Guardian. So whatever she had done to provoke these monks, he was involved.

Once a spell had hit his hand, he got angry. "That is it!" With that, the Raven Shade erupted from his chest and flew into the bulk of the crowd, leaving behind a trail of black fog and replacing the battle cries in the room with screams of terror. It had assaulted, struck and slain some monks with its sharp claws, and continued to fly around and cause havoc as Zolanius made a leap for the entrance, taking down any who blocked his way with his sword. Once he was out, the Shade quickly few after him, securing his exit.

He did not make his attempt to follow the summoner. He instead had an objective to turn in. It's not that he didn't care, but he had his priorities.

The commotion that came from the entrance of the temple on sealed her idea of what was going on just outside of it, even as they moved further towards that entrance the voices and yelling grew louder. Letting out a long sigh and shaking her head as she paused a moment, looking to Ky as they stepped more into the open to leave sed temple glancing back to see Zolanius moving back deeper into the temple himself. Her ears flicked a few times possibly due to all the yelling, she'd step back and around the corner inside for a moment, Ky trying to be reasonable but the guards and people were not having it. Watching as a Fireball shot past them she'd sigh once more deeply.

* So it seems lunch will be delayed indeed, and very well.. I’ll do my best not to bring harm to any of them.. *

Watching as Ky summing Ifrit which only seemed to anger the group further by the fact she had him on her side, With Ky and Ifrit on their way after someone fired off another icy spell towards the two, herself just out of sight inside the temple. Giving another glance back towards the interior she'd pause and begin to move once more, stopping only as Zolanius came around the corner in time to have an assault of spells cast int heir direction again. Hearing him question what was going on she smiled a bit, looking at him as he went for his sword and drawing it forth.

* Ah well.. seems the people of Gaia do not disappoint in holding to.. tradition you could say. Nothing like finding out a Lucavi invaded one of their temples and Ky being a machine gaining Ifrit to set off a religious witch hunt ! Ahhah *

Her laughter at the sudden change in His Demeanor as he went about his own process for getting out and away, though she could see as he made his way that he did injure more then a few on his way out. Shaking her head slightly she noticed that not a soul in the group used gravity, something she would take advantage of as she was sure they wouldn't be used to such. Stepping around the corner as water covered her form like a liquid armor, she'd cast Gravira over the group enough so to drop them to their knees as she stepped out further.

* I'm not one to hurt people that attack things simply out of fear.. But if you follow us at all.. I’ll dismantle your temple. *

With that she'd rift-skip away, vanishing in a puff of steam as the flames licked at the water she had surrounded herself in. She would emerge at the same moment just on the outskirts of town, walking away calmly as her gravira spell would fade over the group. Leaving them to tend to their wounded that Zolanius had injured on his own exit of the area, surely he'd find her and Ky once more in his own movements to get away from the area.

* Well guess this journey is off to a fantastic start, I wonder what else were going to encounter and where Ky has gotten off to now.. *

K138Y thanked her summon then dismissed him before entering the forest. She really wasn't sure that the giant flaming Ifrit wouldn't just light the forest asunder just by being in it. She quickly bolted down the path leapfrogging, literally once, over fiends that lived in the forest. One elemental ended up getting punched square in the face, or whatever it considered a face in that general region, which sent it flying and possibly shattering, though she didn't stop to see just what had happened. Entering Kilika for the first time was depressing. The city was made sitting atop the ocean and looked like it was built out of drift wood. Why did they not just clear out part of the forest and live there? That was how most cities and towns were built. Though Spira tended to have have an noninvasive populace. K138Y had expected to meet a lynch mob at the town entrance and was already formulating a plan for stealing a boat and leaving behind all the Gill she had as payment. But the people of the city hardly noticed she was there. They where certainly in a heap about something.

The robot maneuvered her way to the town inn and proceeded to seat herself at one of the tables with two more chairs, grabbing two menus on the way. A waitress came by and asked what K138Y wanted to order while waving her little booklet in front of her face and eavesdropping on other customers. She didn't even make eye contact with the summoner and probably would get the order of "Just three waters for now" wrong. But K138Y did take her example and started eavesdropping on the other patrons at the inn. Apparently Sin had been spotted in the Midgar region, headed towards Blamb. So far there was no word of attack but President Shinra was heading to Spira to talk to the Maesters. This was interesting because Sin hadn't attacked anyone yet which meant he may not be planning to attack at all. Yet Shinra was seeking help as if the attack had already happened, or as if it definitely would. But evidence so far supported that Sin only attacked Spira and as of yet hadn't attacked any other territory. It was actually a partial blessing for Spira because no one wanted the countries land if it was just going to be bombed by fiends and tidal waves. K138Y had already decided that her next stop needed to be Luca so she could try to get involved, figure out what was going on and how she could help.

It was almost too bad that this had come up so suddenly. K138Y had almost been looking forward to taking a minuet to relax and catch up with her old and new guardians. She had also spotted a sign requesting where people could post for help in the area and a few papers were missing, which seemed like something worth looking into if anyone needed help. She had also found a few request for help on the internet. Blamb had a set of needs that K138Y suspected she could use to solve one another and it sounded rather fun. But it would have to wait, a more pressing concern was out there. She did however hear, from the same man who wondered of Blitzball would go international, of some help that was needed in Spira, getting ready for the Blitzball games. It wasn't an issue that actually needed solving, but Blitzball was important to the people of Spira and therefore made it more important that in really seemed. Blitzball was a distraction from Sin, and right now the people of Spira needed to keep the positive emotions flowing. With Sin being in a new area they might be hoping that they were finally free of the plight and a good tournament would keep the positive mood flowing, even bring it to the next level. K138Y was so distracted with her closed eyes eavesdropping that she might not have even noticed if either of her companions had joined her.

It took her a bit to get far enough away, preferring to make her way along just off the main path heading to Kilika, avoiding real fiends and having a fairly good laugh about her classification as a type of fiend. Even as she was making her way along a few would make an attempt at her since she was traveling alone, they were relatively easy to dispatch so no problem there. Eventually she'd make her way back out and onto the main paths taking enough time to transform herself into a more feral look. She figured that would be less threatening to the people of this Gaia after all, she was lucky enough to pick up Ky's scent which she did indeed have one, after all how many Machina were about this area.

* why do most world shave to have some backwards religion.. that is one thing I'd like to learn someday I think... *

She was mostly referring to religious extremist that seem to pop up from time to time everywhere she went. Pausing as she had spoken though when she reached Kilika finally, paws falling to the hard ground as she walked right into town. Following Ky's scent as she moved along, getting some strange looks as she went but otherwise no one was bothering her as she was not bothering anyone else herself. Some of the things she heard on whispers as she moved through town, pausing to sniff along before making her way towards the in when her paws carried her across wooden planks to it, she'd sneeze a few times at the saltwater smell on the air but adjusted to it quickly. Making her way into the well Inn, she glanced around until she saw Ky sitting at a table. Making her way across the area to sed table she'd Climb into another Chair and just stared at Ky, still in her feral form as her tails curled around the back of the chair. She wouldn't say anything at all for a few minutes to see what Ky's reaction would be, only after such would she change back to her usual self in one sense of the word. Listening in on the conversations going on but clearly having missed some of it.

* Did I miss something or is the President of Shinra going to be visiting? What else seems to be going on in this world that I'm missing so far Ky? *

Glancing around the room noone seemed to be paying attention to herself or Ky really which she'd take as a good thing at this moment, and as of yet she didn't see Zolanius yet so she wondered if he'd find them or they'd have to seek him out. When the waitress brought out three waters she'd smile and thank the woman before looking at the glasses, with three being delivered she assumed Zolanius must be on his way or about.

* hrmm no sign of the new Guardian yet either. So .. do you have an idea of where you'd like to go Next Ky? We could talk more on the way if you do *

Getting out of the temple was the easy part. But finding a spot to lay low was so much harder than the death of several zeolots. Especially with the Raven Shade and its bloody claws following him. It recalled into him once be stepped outside of the village lines, where nobody was around. It was there that he decided to stay until the ruckus had died down. Which felt like hours. But after that, he found himself in the rickety town, and he'd make his way to the inn that he had originally taken up employment. It felt empty enough, but the first thing he was was K138Y and Rena sitting with one too many glasses of water. Some lunch... But he couldn't complain. He started towards them, then stopped suddenly, as if frozen. His eyes shimmered with a yellow flicker, and he was reminded, the job.

So instead of taking a seat, he walks over to the counter, pulling out the paper that he had taken from the bounty board, and sets on top the small flaming orb that he had taken from the temple which, for one reason or another, did not burn the paper. He did all this one-handed, as he still had not figured out how to remove the crystalline fragment. He had already gotten used to it being there, in his finger, but it might be best not to agitate it. Once he has the innkeeper's attention, all he says is, "I'm collecting the reward for the artifact mission..." The shimmer in his eyes fade, and he waits by the counter. Turning his head, he waves at K138Y and Rena with a smirk, as if saying he'll be right over.

K138Y handed Rena a menu after realizing the strange cat was actually her friend. She had only glanced at the cat before figuring it must have belonged to someone at the inn but was taken by surprise when it turned into Rena. In the moment she had prepared to spring across the table and attack by standing up but then quickly sat back down upon the realization of who it was. Rena seemed to quickly catch onto the eavesdropping that K138Y was pulling and caught up on a bit of the information herself before asking to have the blanks filled in.

"The big thing your missing right now is that Sin has been spotted outside of Spira, near Midgar but making a clear advance towards Blamb. Shinra is making a visit to Luca in order to speak with the Maesters about the whole thing. We are too far to help with Sin, but we are just a little ways away to Luca. I'd like to head there right away and we will probably beat our guest."

Right as the glasses were delivered K138Y spotted Zolanius waving to her at the counter. She gestured towards the empty seat with a water, but her new guardian seemed to be busy with something else. So she let him do his own thing, he hopefully knew he was welcome to join whenever.

"As for whats going on in this world...I have picked up on two news casts since getting here perhaps almost a day ago." It was probably less than that but who was really counting? "At first the only thing of any interest was that Mysidia had been attacking its neighbors while looking for artifacts, Mist is missing a princess, nothing out of the ordinary really. But the worlds problems quickly escalated after my, and I'm guessing your, arrival here." K138Y silenced when when the waitress arrived again and asked about meal choices. K138Y gestured to Rena and waited for her to order then instructed the Waitress to collect an order from Zolanius. But she didn't place an order for herself, K138Y had not even touched the glass of water since the waitress set it down. The conversation for filling Rena in continued after the waitress left. "Sin spotted outside of Spira, us causing a huge commotion here that is being cited as a 'sign from Yevon', an airship crashed in the Mist's evil forest which was followed by the forest petrifying with a naked woman and a Moogle fleeing area. Everything was fine in this world before we showed up...I think we, assuming there is more of us from old Gaia, may be the cause of things going wrong in this version of Gaia..."

She would glance to the counter when Ky seemed to take notice of Zolanuis there, herself turning to look even after Ky seemed to have a minor freak out in the best sense of the word. Smiling somewhat as Ky had sat back down after seeing who she was, she listened to Ky reg-ail her of the movement of Sin away from Spira and so forth.

* So Sin isn't hanging around here and it's fairly recent.. You think, it's because we.... *

She too paused her train of thought for a moment or two when the waitress came by to take their order, herself pondering on this a moment she would smile before speaking up to place her order.

* Ah.. any behemoth steak? And any mixture of vegetables for myself if you've got it! *

Smiling as she looked to the woman but didn't look away, not even blinking, it might have at least creeped the young woman out enough to wander away after taking the order to see if they had such. Her eyes watching her move away before she looked back to Ky.

* The Beasty Sin heading for Balamb and bypassing Midgar or so it seems then, very very interesting news to say the least. Shinra will be in Luca as well.. I'm with you on us heading there for the time being. *

She listened on as Ky spoke of newscasts she had picked up on, one about Mysidia attack it's neighbors and looking for artifacts, as well as a missing Princess. She would look at her glass of water before sipping some of it, hearing Ky point out that apparently they were seen as some sign from Yevon from the commotion they had caused.

* I'll accept that things are, out of the ordinary compared to our own world Ky, I'll accept that we or others from our previous world may be the cause even. It's not like I haven't threw a proverbial wrench in the gears when I showed up in the previous Gaia before I met you, but I can't say we are the cause either of the goings on here. I've been to many different worlds and theirs always some effect from it, but this seems a bit more far reaching as well. *

Thinking again for a moment or two, she'd glance back toward Zolanius as he seemed to receive notice, or payment for whatever he had just given to the Inn. But that had little effect on herself otherwise at this time.

* At some point it would be a good thing for us to find my own airship, I did manage to pull it into this world with myself. It's got plenty of firepower for if I would ever need it, as for this world having no blight Lets hope it stays that way. After all I have had to put up with carrying the blight myself *

When Zolanius would ever join the two of them she would pause her conversation for a moment, unsure of if he had overheard them, or would even have questions for both Ky and herself as they would have for him as well. She did need to question his reasoning behind actually injuring people back at the temple just because he got hit.

With a subtle nod, Zolanius took the bag and stashed it inside of a pocket inside of his coat, sure that it'd be safe. With that, he had turned to stand from his seat when the waitress that had been sent over approached him. Awaiting his order, the only thing that came to mind that he could order would be something thing thing insert fish here something something. Really, would could a place like this possibly offer. So the only thing he has to say is "Um... Cooked fish a stick?" He then stood and made his way to Ky and Rena. It might have been a bit unnecessary to specify "cooked" but in a place like this, you never know if they would grab a fish out of the water and drop it on a plate to serve. Maybe he was putting this place down too much in his mind, but it took a lot to impress him, and so far, nothing but the temple and his two acquaintances has been impressive.

So when he got to their table, he took his seat and took a small sip from the glass of water sitting in front of him, and sat silent for a bit, realizing that the conversation had ended, or at least paused once he had sat down. He wasn't one to feel awkward so he decided to speak up for himself. He had plenty to bring up, as he heard the gossip and when he heard the name "Shinra", it made him feel rather livid. He didn't show it though, as his history was something he wasn't interested in sharing initially.

"So what's this I hear about Sin leaving Spira? And Shinra in Luca? Sounds like something worth investigating, yeah? Especially since it's a summoner's job to end it.~" He leaned back in his chair, folding his arms and crossing his legs, his typical relaxing posture, and waited for his answer. He really was legitimately interested in both of these topics, but more for his own gain. The idea of a magical whale monster intrigued him, and he's got business with Shinra. Anything to learn what their plans are.

K138Y held a straight face but was actually panicking a little on the inside. Rena had tried to be soothing but had only increased the fears. She said that disasters did follow when she traveled to other worlds, but not of this magnitude. But that was when it was only her. Not when it was two people, an airship, and possibly two airships. Potentially more people even. That was a large amount of disturbance. More disturbing for K138Y however, to the point she had hardly paid attention about the airship, was Rena's admission that she carried the blight. Rena did not look like a blighted creature, so perhaps it was dormant in her. But it meant that Rena may have brought the blight over to this world. What if it spread from her? K138Y would need more time to think, she needed allot of time to think really. But for now she left it alone and greeted Zolanius has he arrived with further questions.

"Greetings Zolanius." she attempted to do a version of the Yevon bow while sitting down which basically was just the hand motions and a head nod. "There isn't much more to tell, Sin is headed for Bevel and Shinra is headed to Luca." K138Y gestured to Rena, "The two of us are planning to head out there and investigate. If you are interested in continuing your sudden interest in guardianship, of if you simply are looking for some companionship, you are more than welcome to join us."

As she finished talking the over worked and distracted waitress showed up with the food. She had gotten the order wrong and placed a sushi burger in front of Zolanius and a deep fried slab of meat on a stick for Rena. Though Rena also got her side of vegetables. K138Y smiled and waited for them to eat so that they could get going. An adventure awaited and she was excited for it. Even if there was lives on the line at least she had her old friend and a new one. Nothing strengthened friendship like an adventure.

As Zol finally joined them she still sat silent for a moment or two longer, listening to him as he'd regale what he had heard as well. Herself glancing to Ky again as the food was soon enough delivered, if not mixed up. She would pick up her own by the stick it was on, sniffing at it lightly a moment before sighing and admitting defeat on it. At least her vegetables came out the way they were supposed to, her eyes cast down to glance at them for moment as she'd bite into the Behemoth steak. The flavor would stick with her as it was just a bit over cooked at the moment, chewing the bit in her mouth down before taking a bite of her vegetables which seemed to fare better in the whole fiasco.

* I really wouldn't look into us being the cause of all the happening at the moment Ky, usually those other places I went to I was the one causing the trouble and setting the world asunder. *

She had resumed her previous conversation, glancing idly to Zolanius as she did so having heard Ky mention them both planning to head there as well. Her tails flicking a little before she curled them out of the way of any passerby, she'd take another bite of her steak then follow it with the tastier vegetables . Looking at Zol's own fish in it's odd state she wondered how that would fare in the flavor department now.

* Yes.. your welcome to join us both, after all you did state you were a guardian do you intend to hold up to those words? After all they may lead you into a fight against Sin. *

She didn't put much more thought into finding her airship at this very moment, know she would get around to it and even then as long as she was able to get close enough to it then she could wake it up so to speak and get it moving again.

* So yes! What will it be Zolanius? Whats your background for becoming a guardian, and as I would assume.. seeing as you'd be traveling with us.. what questions do you have for us right as of this moment.. Also whats with your misty bird thing ? *

She questioned more point blankly after his showing at the temple, herself waving a hand at him as if gesturing to the hidden entity.

Zolanius picked up the burger and sniffed it a bit, before raising a brow and lowering it back onto his plate and pushing it away. However, the slab of cooked meat on a stick caught his attention. He had ordered something basic, to keep the cost of the lunch low for the Summoner he was escorting, but that couldn't happen, apparently. So he just sat and listened to the rest of their conversation, and then the attention was put on him in a slew of curiosity. This was something he wasn't used to, but he shrugged off the nervousness and kept his composure. The main one that stuck with with was the one concerning the Raven Shade, the entity he had kept with him since day one. It would be a good story to telll, but that was something he wasn't quite ready to talk about. The rest was easy though.

"Oh, it's nothing too complicated. I'm just a man trying to make his way in the world, and learn a few things on the way. From what I hear, the life of a summoner takes them on the road to great knowledge and various cultures. I've got everything to gain in the pursuit of knowledge." He reaches into his pocket to quickly flash the book that he had been making constant scribbles in, with a single finger extended, as this was the finger that the crystalline door from Kilika's temple has stuck him in, leaving the crystal sliver in his finger. He stashes the book again and continues. "As for questions for you, well, there's nothing much I need to know. I won't ask questions if you won't! I just know that you're both from another world, from what I've gathered, and this is somewhat related to the happenings, yeah?" He takes another sip from his glass of water. "As for the creature that you had witnessed in the temple... I'm not going to talk about that."

Everyone seemed acquainted and out of questions. Zolanius seemed to be refusing to eat his burger for whatever reason and Rena was awkwardly eating her food. K138Y had a moment of thinking about food and what it must be like but really had more pressing things to think about. Like her new guardians peculiar behaviors. But it was easy enough to brush off, everyone had their issues. Rena was apparently a surviving victim of the Blight. K138Y had a god like computer program living in her code. Zolanius didn't wan't to be questioned about his life and didn't want to talk about his shadow thing. To each their own.

As soon as the food was gone K138Y suggested they get going to a boat, there would be plenty of time for rest on board and probably more chances at food for those who needed it. The latter was suggested with a look at Zolanius since he hadn't eaten his meal. Maybe he didn't need it? She threw a handful of Gil on the table and hoped that would be enough. The waitress had never come back since she was so busy and probably did not want to be reprimanded for messing up the meals. Besides, weren't summoners on their pilgrimage supposed to eat free or get discounts or something? Either way K138Y headed out of the hotel and for the closest docked ship. It looked like it was accepting passengers and the people on the ship looked happy. For once their voyage wouldn't have a looming fear of Sin destroying them.

And so it was, Zolanius didn't touch his food really as well what he spoke of for his own endeavors seemed a bit lacking but that was his place. She would take a drink of water, looking into the glass as she did. She payed attention when he mentioned not really having any questions for them, and that he figured them to be from another world.

* mmm so being from another world.. at least in your mind what would that pertain to? Space travel? *

She liked the idea of finding out what others though different world meant, after all in most senses it meant alien, foreign and unknown. She finally put her steak on a stick down, finishing the last bit of vegetables. She would stand up quickly enough, her hands still on the table a she watched Ky put the gil on the table.

* I could have gotten that Ky.. but thank you ! *

Looking to Zol she would motion him on as Ky headed out of the inn and off towards the boat, herself moving to follow she would shift forms, back to the feral fox like figure she had entered with and dashed after Ky. It would only take her a minute to catch up, padding along beside her glancing up to look at Ky as they walked along. She would glance back as well, checking behind herself to see if Zol had followed along or not.

* I figure Ky.. I'll stay with you more often while in this form.. Being a seen as some beasty you've managed to train or get on the good side of might pose better in situations.. and allow me into places or around people who would.. otherwise not want someone around. Say if we come across the president of Shinra in this world, I may be able to follow him around without letting on to who I am actually... *

She spoke in a softer voice in this form, watching Ky still as tails swayed idly behind herself. She could after all be seen as a rare animal since she doubted any other like her existed within this world.

The question that had been asked to him concerning what the term "other world" might have meant to him. Space travel, perhaps. The way he looked at it, it did not matter if somebody was from a foreign land, distant planet or even an alternate reality.
